Our Mission
Cred Edge is a charitable organization dedicated to educating students on the responsible use of credit and loans to give them the edge they need when faced with debt-accumulating decisions.

As a project of CDP, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. CredEdge educates high school students on the responsible use of credit and student loans. We send financial experts into high schools to speak with students about ways they can build and maintain credit to keep them out of long-term debt.
Cred Edge began because this is the first time in history that a generation is not on track to surpass the living standards of their parents mainly due to the debt that is accumulated directly after starting to use credit cards and loans.Most of the time the reason young adults fall victim to debt is due to lack of early education on credit before being able to use it. Simply put, there are too many people in unfavorable financial positions simply because of lack of education on how the credit system works.
Our goal is to compensate this crisis by ending lack of education as a cause of concern. We do so by providing young adults with both technology that can be used to track finances and financial wisdom that can bu used to create a sound foundation from which to grow. We provide students with all of the necessary tools to overcome financial hurdles that will be faced while they get settled into their future plans.
We envision a world where all people are confident in their ability to make informed decisions regarding their credit. By educating early-on we believe people will have a better chance of obtaining financial success later in life. Giving this, and every generation to come, the edge on surpassing the living standards of their parents, keeping our communities on the right financial track to success and growth.
